Pre-Primary education is made of Pre-Primary 1 And 2 (PP1 AND PP2). Learners join the Kenya CBC Pre-Primary at age 4.

At The Kenneth Academy, learners aged 3 and below join the Little Learners class and Playgroup(Daycare) and are taught the Montessori Curriculum before joining PP1 at 4 years.

Transition to Grade 1

On transition to Grade 1,the Ministry of Education has developed the Kenya School Readiness Assessment Tool (KESRAT), an assessment tool to determine the readiness of the child to transition to Grade 1.
